Political advisory position in the cabinet of MEP Ibán García del Blanco, member of the Legal Affairs, Petitions and Culture and Education committees, the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly and the Delegation to
the EU-Chile Joint Parliamentary Committee. My duties included:

▪ Conducting extensive research on legislative proposals and policy, providing in-depth analysis and briefings to
support the MEP work.
▪ Drafting speeches, press releases and official correspondence on behalf of the MEP.
▪ Coordinated communications and engagements with a wide range of stakeholders from the private and
public sector.
▪ Following parliamentary sessions, committee meetings, and working groups.
▪ Advisory support in the development of legislative and non-legislative policies, including the drafting and
tabling of amendments.
▪ Active participation in inter-institutional and governmental communication, including diplomatic
relations.
▪ Managing the MEP’s agenda, including meetings and travel arrangements.
▪ Design, preparation and coordination for events.

Junior public affairs consultant:
▪ Ongoing monitoring of major legislative developments, including the Commission proposal on the
Pharmaceutical Package.
▪ Support for internal and client meetings, from the logistical set up to the agenda and action points
development.
▪ Research and analysis work for clients, with a particular focus on NCD policy at the EU and national
levels.

Trainee in the cabinet of MEP Nicolás González Casares, member of the ITRE, ENVI and PECH Committees and the Eurolat, MERCOSUR and Japan Delegations. My duties included:

▪ Monitoring and drafting amendments for legislative and non-legislative files.
▪ Meeting and being in contact with lobbies and stakeholders.
▪ Carrying out research and preparation of briefings.
▪ Organising the Member's agenda and dealing with phone and email inquiries.
▪ Organisation of events, business trips and missions for the MEP.
