My specialization is in analysing and evaluating policies and researching in the fields of migration and urban socio-spatial management, with a special focus on climate change and climate justice, EU migration and asylum systems, queer asylum, and conflicts. I am an enthusiastic, motivated learner and always looking for new challenges. I enjoy working in a team and conducting independent research.
Opleiding
Master's program in Human Geography, specialisation in Globalisation, Migration and Development. Main courses: International migration, globalisation and development; Gender, conflict and international relations; Geographies of Care: Spaces, subjectivities and solidarity; Globalising cities and hinterlands.
Ervaring
Tasks: journalistic and academic writing; production of articles on gender and diversity; editing.
Tasks: Design and organisation meetings and activities for LGBTQI+ asylum seekers from Nijmegen and surrounding areas, e.g. debates, creative workshops, and informative meetings in collaboration with the GGD and COA; administrative support for events.
