Having worked for the US resettlement agencies for asylum seekers for over three years, I have acquired a set of social and humanitarian skills that have both cultural sensitivity and the human being at large as its base.
Now, based in the Netherlands, I am looking for a challenging position that rewards my need to pay back to the community and that's by embarking on a job that puts individuals who are in dire need of help at the center of its practice and core belief .
For the aforementioned job, I have worked in challenging circumstances whereby I had to be time efficient while maintaining the quality of work and preserving the integrity of the work done for our beneficiaries.
Opleiding
Completed a Bachlor in Arts in Communication Arts (emphasis Radio/TV/Film and Theater). The course of studies covered both theoretical and practical side of media including filmmaking (both fictional and documentary), theatre production and also the ethical practices of media and the art of film.
Ervaring
• Prepared (administratively) refugee files for U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services
(USCIS), following guidelines set forth by USRAP (United States Refugee Admission
Program) while adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implanting
policies in accordance with US Department of State/ Bureau of Population, Refugees and
Migration
• Accurately recorded all biographic data and family relationships for all refugee applicants
