- I am an experienced global health professional with a multi-faceted understanding of sustainable access to healthcare in lower-income contexts. My knowledge spans pharmaceutical R&D, delivery of products, the intersection of these activities with international development, with a special focus on the role and responsibility of the private sector.
- My experience spans programme management, analysis, writing, communications and advocacy. I derive special satisfaction from growing, developing and supporting a successful, happy, and motivated team. I confidently engage with a wide range of stakeholders: global health leaders, private sector executives, academia, the media and government officials.
- I have held senior positions developing sensitive policy on behalf of the UK Government both domestically and internationally, was Programme Director for a Geneva-based non-Governmental Organisation, was Research Programme Manager at the Access to Medicine Foundation, and was Senior Manager for HIV Prevention with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI).
- An example of a significant professional achievement was leading on the development, publication dissemination and acting as public spokesperson for the 2018 Access to Medicine Index, a widely respected and influential independent evaluation of the contribution of large pharmaceutical companies to global health.
