Journalism graduate, creative writer and thorough editor transferring skills from travel to MedTech via e-learning. Opleiding
My master’s thesis “Trust and Peace Journalism” was published in academic journal “Questions of Journalism” number 3-4, 2011 and received a top paper award at the International Communication Association (ICA) 2012 conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
Ervaring
I currently manage the concept, planning, and execution of Aidence's editorial calendar.
I write, edit and review website copy, blog articles, product sheets, white papers, newsletters, and social media posts. I also work with designers and developers to develop infographics, videos, and webpages. I further oversee media relations and communications assets: press releases, interviews, briefings, Q&As.
I researched best practices and wrote informative and inspiring e-learning materials teaching Excel and PowerPoint skills to business professionals.
In the last year, I recruited, coached, and coordinated a team of content writing interns, and edited their materials to uphold the quality standards and deliver projects on time.
Additional tasks included creating blog posts, email templates, and FAQs; answering user questions and implementing feedback; translating and adapting content from Dutch into English
