DISCOVER THE NEW CEDLA EDUCATION PROGRAMME 2019-2020

Minor in Latin American Studies
The minor combines several of our Bachelor courses to give the student a broad oversight of the field of Latin American Studies. Themes are approached from different disciplinary angles, bridging the Humanities and Social Sciences, including theories and methodologies from cultural anthropology, human geography, political science and history.
The minor can serve as a preparation for the CEDLA Master’s Programme in Latin American Studies. This programme lasts 15 months and familiarizes students with the most important developments in the region, as well as the different theories and research debates about the causes and meanings of those developments, and the necessary methodologies to carry out your own academic research in Latin America._____________________Registration Bachelor CoursesUvA students
