On 23 November 2018, Aidsfonds organises its annual STD x HIV x Sex congress in de Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. This year, AFEW International offers students the chance to attend the congress for only 15 Euros – a fraction of the regular ticket price!
Don’t wait too long though, because we can only offer these discounted tickets to a maximum of only 75 students up to 16 November.

During this annual event, more than 600 HIV professionals and organisations come together to meet each other and exchange ideas about relevant challenges and solutions for the worldwide fight against HIV/AIDS. The theme for this years’ congres is ‘Together for a break-through’, and the programme is filled with interesting plenary sessions, workshops, an information market and an art exposition. A lunch and closing drinks are also included. A perfect opportunity to learn and to network! Specifically, for students and young professionals we organise the workshop 1H ‘What does the future hold’ to discuss jointly with other professionals what the current and future challenges in the fight against HIV require.
The student discount is made possible by AFEW International. AFEW is a network of civil society organisations working in the Eastern European and Central Asian (EECA) region. AFEW promotes treatment and care for public health concerns such as #HIV, #TB, viral #hepatitis and sexual reproductive #health and rights. Attend workshop 1H, visit the art exposition of the Georgian Lado Darakhvelidzezu during break time and attend the plenary session by AFEW director Anke van Dam on community-involvement.
