The Supporting Act Foundation is a foundation established by WeTransfer in 2021. WeTransfer has been supporting creativity since day one, through donating 30% of its advertising space to artists and good causes as well as supporting other (educational) initiatives. After more than 10 years of supporting creativity, the Foundation was a logical and next step in this commitment.
The Supporting Act Foundation aims to provide a helping hand to artists at the beginning of their careers, with a particular focus on minority groups and community-centered initiatives. The Foundation operates following the trust-based philanthropy approach, and has “nothing about artists, without artists” as one of its guiding principles.
