Thanks for having a look at my bio.
I just wanted to add a bit of colour to my CV...
I left the Netherlands for Ghana in 2001 to work with a British Council project targeting sports & social responsibility. An impactful experience that surprisingly made me stay in Ghana for another 20+ years.
During my time in Ghana I worked with employers in the field of international development, building & construction, food import as well as visa processing. After which I set up my own travel & tour enterprise (that I happily run up to date).
The cliché that life is a journey, is very much the perspective I have. When looking back, I appreciate the many challenges I met along the way.
My life & work experiences have shaped me and given me appreciation, a worldly perspective, 'survival' skills and 2 beautiful kids... : )
About me; I am a creative, open minded & flexible person. A listener and observer.
Being in my 50's I strongly believe that my background, experience and fresh and flexible outlook, would be a valuable asset to others. This could be in a variety of fields, from international development to small business, from social work to tourism and intercultural work as well...
