The IKEA Foundation is seeking a Program Manager to help implement the newly formed strategy for our Refugee Livelihood portfolio which aims to identify innovative approaches to supporting refugees to achieve sustainable, dignified livelihoods for themselves and their families. The Programme Manager is responsible for funding (grants) and monitoring initiatives within the Refugee Livelihood portfolio. The Programme Manager, in collaboration with the broader programme team, executes and manages funding opportunities in line with our organizational strategy. The aim is to spend available funding as responsibly and effectively as possible, with maximum impact and learning, and to contribute optimally to the mission and vision of the IKEA Foundation.

We are seeking an individual with proven project management experience and experience in refugee livelihoods as a donor or in the design and delivery of on-the-ground programming in Africa. In addition, experience in one or more of the following humanitarian and/or development sector areas is required; Market-based livelihoods development; Agricultural or other forms of rural development; micro and small business development; financial inclusion and/or financial service innovation. Most importantly, the successful individual will demonstrate a strong commitment to the vision, mission and values of the IKEA Foundation.
