Organizational Unit/Department: Critical Care in Nursing
Duration of assignment: 3 months

Objective of Assignment

Describe the nursing care and management of patients with a critical illness


  • Enhancing professional knowledge and practical work of nurses in the ICU department.
  • Update their professional knowledge.
  • Positive changes in staff knowledge, skills, and attitude.
  • Encouraging staff to work as a team in their respective field.
  • Performing effective activities in the resuscitation of patients
  • Conducting nursing research

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Provide Training opportunity for ICU nursing and staff
• Attend and prepare in academic sessions and conference for ICU staff
• Apply theoretical and research-based knowledge to the care of patients with a critical illness
• Demonstrate and teach safe basic nursing care in a critical care setting
• Training and demonstration of common resuscitation skills for patients with cardiopulmonary arrest and multiple trauma.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7 to 10 years of work experience in ICU
