I am an attorney at all, qualified in South Africa. I have experience in strategic litigation and public-interest law at Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa, a global law firm. My work focused on human rights, constitutional and administrative law, refugee protection, and public international law, including litigation before the High Courts, the Supreme Court of Appeal, and the Constitutional Court.
I have worked on matters advancing accountability and legal reform, particularly affecting refugees, women, children, and other vulnerable groups. This included representing asylum seekers in protection proceedings, supporting vulnerable witnesses, and contributing to strategic litigation aimed at strengthening refugee protections and state compliance with international law.
I hold an LL.M. in Public International Law (Conflict and International Security) from Utrecht University in the Netherlands, as well as an LLB and a BA in International Relations and Philosophy from the University of Cape Town. I am seeking to transition into the public international law and international security field, with a particular interest in accountability, investigations, and policy-oriented legal work.
