Achtergrond – 

Aim: The Safety for Female Travellers Course prepares you to deal with sexual harassment and sexual assault when working and travelling abroad.
You gain insight in the impact of culture on gender relations. The course raises your awareness of the choices you have in dealing with sexual aggression. You learn to verbally and physically communicate clearly and appropriately in case of sexual harassment.

Method: Strong emphasis on interaction and practical exercises. As this is a woman-only workshop, the trainer is female (the actor is male). The training is conducted in a safe learning environment.

Participants: Female NGO staff working and/or travelling in unsafe areas, who have attended a Basic Safety and Security Course (Light) in the past.

Duration: 1 day
