Applying for Best Innovation is…
… an excellent opportunity to show the innovative things you are doing to the public and inspire people working in international development! A selection of ten best innovators may attend The Spindle Jury Event on September 25th at the Accenture Awards (the largest innovation awards in The Netherlands), to pitch their innovation in front of our critical but benevolent jury. Three nominees may present their innovation at the Partos Innovation Festival among a large crowd of NGO-employees, social entrepreneurs, media and social impact investors. Finally, you might win the Public Award for Best Innovation and/or the Jury Award for Best Innovation including €5000 to develop a scale-up strategy and a grant writer for a day!
There are TWO awards for Best Innovation!
By applying for The Spindle Award for Best Innovation, you race for the Public Award and the Jury Award. The innovation with the most votes on The Spindle website will win the Public Award, while our Jury will choose the ultimate winner of the Best Innovation Award and of the €5000 + grant writing. Public voting offers the opportunity to promote your innovative concept on our website, and to collect votes via social media channels. The voting term covers two weeks, starting from Monday September 4th (00:00h) and will close on September 17th at 23:59h. The winners of The Spindle Innovation Awards for Best Innovation will be presented at the closing event of the Festival, together with the winner of the Best Idea Award.
How does it work?
You can apply by filling out the form on The Spindle website. Needless to say, as The Spindle works within the realm of international development, we expect your application to fall into our thematic scope.
