International Head of Digital
Salary: £50,000 GBP (or equivalent in local currency)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)

The role will occasionally require travel to our London office (175 Tower Bridge Road) and internationally for meetings and therefore requires a flexible approach to working. Applicants must be very competent English speakers and have the right to travel to the UK and work in one of the following countries: UK, Albania, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Switzerland or Ukraine. Salary in GBP or equivalent in local currency.

Mission Without Borders is an international Christian organization working in six of the poorest countries in Europe. Our Mission is to journey with the poor and marginalized, bringing practical and spiritual support with hope of a better future, enabling and encouraging people to lift themselves out of poverty.
Whether it is a hot meal for a homeless person, a homework club for a struggling pupil or seeds for a father who wants to grow vegetables for his family. We support families and children through our sponsorship programs by providing after school clubs and investing in sustainable businesses to get them back on their feet. We provide emotional support to those who need it most, working through issues that could be holding them back, such as conflict, past trauma or addiction.

Mission Without Borders International leads and co-ordinates the work of the six countries in Eastern Europe where we carry out our project work, and 12 countries where we raise support. An international staff team supports this work in terms of community development, best practice, fundraising, communications, finance, IT and soon to be, Digital.

About the role
Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced digital leader to operationally lead the newly formed International Digital Team. The role will contribute to and execute the international digital strategy, reporting to the International Chief Information Officer (CIO). This is one of four roles being recruited to form the new digital team.
Digital at Mission Without Borders is in its infancy and the mission seeks to increase awareness, grow empathy, encourage support, build loyalty, and equip advocates in the digital space. This is a significant role within the mission as there is a lot of work to do, with an expectation of seeing a Return On Investment through increased online acquisition and income.
The International Digital Team will inform our 12 fundraising countries on the latest digital trends and best practice, empower them with digital analytics and training and equip them with platforms, digital assets, and digital marketing services.
Who we are looking for
You must be a very competent English speaker and have the right to travel to the UK and work in one of the following countries: UK, Albania, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Switzerland or Ukraine.
You will have significant experience as a Head of Digital (or similar role) and be degree educated (or qualified by experience). You will have proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of digital experts and overseeing the delivery of a variety of large-scale digital platforms, channels and initiatives.
A deep knowledge of all areas of digital including design, development and distribution with a particular focus on digital marketing and analytics, marketing platforms (such as Google Analytics, AdWords, Webmaster tools, Facebook and Instagram) and digital advertising (PPC and display).
You will need proven line management experience including supporting, mentoring, motivating, inspiring and developing staff.
We are seeking someone with outstanding stakeholder management skills and an innovative and methodical thinker who is highly organised and proactive.
