UEBT is looking for a

Business systems analyst

Responsibilities

• Liaise with our external software vendors

• Understand our (and our members’) needs to translate these needs into functional requirements, and ensure that our current software solutions meet these requirements

• Work with external vendors and coordinate implementation of software solutions in our organisation, including budgeting, documenting system processes, testing and troubleshooting and staff training

• Design and managing new projects (requirements and analysis, architecture, design, construction, integration and test, budgeting and implementation)

• Researching external software applications that may contribute to the success of UEBT

• Providing support to our teams to effectively use our systems, articulate additional needs, develop instruction materials for different user groups and provide training

• Creating and updating documentation on the status & flows of the UEBT systems

• Managing financial budgets and timelines for specific IT development projects

• Reporting on progress to senior management, end users and other stakeholders

Qualifications & skills:

• At least 5-year work experience as a business analyst /application manager / IT manager or similar

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to plan and organize work (e.g. by relevant project management experience).

• Experience in writing, reviewing, revising, and/or editing technical documents

• Pro-active approach towards solving problems as they occur

• Good time management skills: Ability to perform well while handling simultaneously several ongoing project tasks

• Solution and service-oriented attitude to work

• A strong sense for diligence and accuracy

• Excellent English language skills (spoken and written) is a precondition for this position

• Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, Project/Product Management or Product Ownership as well as Agile Software Development are an asset

• Knowledge of French would be an asset

The position is based in Europe with preference for the Netherlands. A valid working permit for EU is required. This is intended as a long-term position.
